Ethics, Client Safeguards & Leadership Excellence Policy
At EdwardOlive, we operate under a strict commitment to confidentiality, psychological safety, and ethical leadership across all our corporate training, executive coaching, voiceover production, and artistic services.
Whether we are coaching C-suite executives on boardroom dynamics, training emerging leaders, or directing actors and voiceover artists in the studio, our practice is grounded in human-to-human authenticity, environmental and social governance (ESG), and absolute operational transparency.
1. Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure & Intellectual Property
In corporate public speaking, C-suite coaching, and media production, privacy and intellectual property are non-negotiable.
- Non-Disclosure (NDA) by Default: All rehearsal materials, strategy decks, board presentations, M&A negotiation scripts, corporate documents, video practice feeds, and raw studio voice recordings are held under strict professional secrecy. They are never shared, stored on unencrypted public channels, or disclosed to third parties.
- Strict Consent & Image Rights (Clear-Consent Protocol): No audio track, photography, video clip, rehearsal snippet, or client testimonial is ever published, broadcast, or used in promotional portfolios without explicit consent from the client or legal guardian.
- Script & Content Protection: We respect the copyright and confidentiality of all commercial voiceover scripts, dramatic monologues, and proprietary executive presentation frameworks delivered during sessions.
2. Studio Health, Safety & Environmental Standards (In-Person & Online)
We prioritize physical safety, sensory comfort, and health across both physical studio facilities and virtual remote environments.
- Vocal Health & Hygiene: Implementation of safe vocal warm-ups, hydration protocols, and vocal strain prevention techniques for voice actors, public speakers, and executives under high speaking loads.
- Acoustic Safety & Safe Audio Monitoring: Audio recording and headphone playback levels are strictly capped at safe decibel thresholds to prevent acoustic trauma, hearing fatigue, or tinnitus.
- Anti-Glare & Continuous Studio Lighting: Physical studio environments utilize flicker-free, anti-glare, continuous LED lighting setup to prevent eye strain, sensory overload, or migraine triggers for neurodivergent or sensory-sensitive clients.
- Virtual Security: All remote coaching, acting, and consultation sessions are conducted via encrypted digital channels to ensure online privacy and data protection.
3. Leadership Training, Corporate Ethics & Team Performance
Our executive coaching programs go far beyond rhetoric—we teach leaders how to build healthy, ethical, and high-performing team cultures.
• Managing Performance vs. Toxicity (Weeding the Garden)
True leadership requires recognizing that high revenue or technical output never justifies toxic behavior. We train managers using the Performance vs. Toxicity Matrix:
- Protecting Team Culture: Retaining «toxic high performers» damages long-term organizational health, suffocates morale, and drives away talent. Leaders must actively «weed the garden» to protect the team.
- Proactive Coaching for B-Players: We teach executives how to coach kind, mid-level performers (B-Players) with clear boundaries, empowering them to grow into A-Players.
- Decisive & Ethical Offboarding: When toxic behavior persists or coaching fails to elevate performance, leaders must act decisively and ethically.
• Developing Autonomy & Eliminating Modern Taylorism
- Coaching over Fixing: Leaders are taught to shift from tactical firefighting to developmental coaching—asking employees «What would you recommend?» rather than stepping in to rescue. This builds end-to-end process ownership, emotional regulation, and self-reliance.
- Rejecting Surveillance & «Digital Taylorism»: We stand firmly against micromanagement, invasive tracking software, and oppressive surveillance metrics. Constant monitoring erodes trust, stifles innovation, and leads to passive resistance or quiet quitting. Real authority is built on goal-based trust and psychological safety.
• Ethical Boardroom Dynamics & Diagnostic Inquiry
We train executives to handle condescending remarks, flawed logic, and absurd corporate statements without emotional reactivity:
- Diagnostic Inquiry: Instead of getting defensive, leaders use targeted questions («Which part do you think I’m missing?» or «Could you walk us through how you reached that conclusion?») to shift the burden of proof, expose flawed logic, and maintain calm authority.
4. Modern Corporate Integration: ESG, D&I & Well-Being
Corporate public speaking and leadership communications must reflect modern ethical benchmarks.
- Diversity, Inclusion & Wellness (DI&W): We naturally integrate inclusive frameworks into public speaking and executive communication. Presentations must respect neurodivergence, physical accessibility, language diversity, and gender affirmation without tokenism.
- ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance): We guide executives on how to articulate genuine ESG impact in board meetings and stakeholder pitches—focusing on radical transparency, employee well-being, and long-term sustainability rather than corporate greenwashing or spin.
- Human-Centric Change Communication: When leading organizations through transition or strategic shifts, leaders must address the human reality first («How does this affect me?»). We teach leaders to lead with radical honesty and empathy, building shared commitment rather than corporate anxiety.
5. Real Human Connection & Authenticity (Human vs. AI)
In an era dominated by automated content and synthetic media, we advocate for 100% authentic human presence.
- Authentic One-on-One Connection: Delivering a key presentation or speaking to a camera should feel like an intimate, authentic one-on-one human conversation, not a robotic speech delivered to an algorithm or an AI.
- Ethical AI Boundaries (AI for Prep, Human for Delivery): While AI can be a useful tool for research, brainstorming, or structural preparation, your voice, image, executive presence, and artistic performance remain 100% human. We reject AI voice cloning, deepfake presentation avatars, and automated thought leadership that lacks human nuance and truth.
- Balancing IQ, EQ & JQ (Joy Quotient): While IQ (analytical skills) gets people hired and EQ (emotional intelligence) gets them promoted, a high JQ (Joy Quotient) makes teams want to stay. We infuse humor, enthusiasm, and genuine human connection into leadership and public speaking.
6. Code of Conduct & E-E-A-T Boundaries
- Zero Tolerance for Harassment: We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding discrimination, harassment, or microaggressions across all studio sessions, classes, and corporate workshops.
- Transparent Cancellation Policies: Clear, fair, and flexible session scheduling designed around client needs and cognitive fatigue limits.
- Professional Scope Disclaimer: Our leadership coaching, voice training, drama instruction, and public speaking programs integrate high emotional intelligence (EQ), active listening, and stress reduction. However, these services are strictly educational, performance-focused, and developmental. We do not provide clinical psychology, psychotherapy, or medical speech therapy. Where medical or clinical support is required, we maintain an ethical referral protocol.
